On February 22, 2258, the Federation tug ship Coola that is capable of warp factor 6 was hijacked by the space pirate Lincoln F. Sternn.

On March 15, 2258, the impulse driven PT boat Tyme discovered a transport ship in distress only to have the ship captured and the crew killed in a daring hijacking of a starship with the firepower almost equal to a Constitution class starship.

By docking both ships together, Captain Sternn now had a ship with speed and firepower and looted the Federation for over 7 months.

On October 31st, 2258, Lincoln F. Sternn was captured by the starship Enterprise and brought to justice with the charges of:

-12 counts of murder in the first degree
-14 counts of armed theft of Federation property
-22 counts of piracy in high space
-18 counts of fraud
-37 counts of rape
