Come on, admit it. You've always wanted to put the command module of the Discovery 1 from 2001: A Space Odyssey onto the body of the XCV-330 Enterprise.
And hypermatter for the impulse drive? As you know hypermatter is the fuel used in Star Wars. My interpretation is that hypermatter is another version of antimatter, but the antimatter in hypermatter is created by accelerating electrons so close to the speed of light their mass increases to the equivalent to protons but with a negative charge, AKA antiprotons. Effectively a more primitive version of antimatter that's used on Star Trek.j
Update: By the way, the hyper matter, the antimatter that can only exist at light speed, in the 2 rings. They're the antimatter storage containers.

I've been working on a design for a sort of hybrid between the XCV-330 ringship and the Discovery One for literally months in painstaking 2D. Now here you are with it all looking snazzy in 3D. Jealous
